Junior Training and Exercise Specialist

Candidate will be responsible for supporting the coordination efforts to support Federal, state, and local partners in developing, designing, coordinating and delivering a wide range of training, technical assistance, exercise and evaluation activities. Support the planning and preparation of exercise documentation to include strategies, scenarios, briefings, exercise plans, role players/controller/evaluator handbooks, master scenario events lists, after-action reports and corrective action plan.

This position is contingent upon award.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with DHS HSEEP compliant training and exercise design, control, coordination, and implementation
  • 2+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience
  • Real world experience in emergency management (Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, etc)
  • Excellent writing and technical editing skills
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and writing
  • BA or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program (HSEEP) certified
  • EMI Professional Development Series
  • ICS and NIMS certifications
  • FEMA experience
  • Active Clearance 
Clearance:

Continuity of Operations (COOP) Analyst

 

MSA is currently seeking Continuity of Operations analyst to provide programmatic support to Federal clients. Primary responsibilities include continuity and emergency operations planning, business impact assessments, exercise development, and facilitate working group sessions. Coordinate the development of policies, procedures, standards, measurement, and evaluation of COOP Plans including Pandemic Influenza. Applicant will also be required to provide critical support to ongoing operations during emergency and national security events. 
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 - 4 years of experience with business impact assessments, contingency planning, devolution planning, or emergency management
  • Experience with COOP planning and exercise development
  •  Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Federal continuity of operations programs and polices
  • BA or BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS)
  • Certified Business Continuity Planner by the Disaster Recovery Institute
  • FEMA Professional Continuity Practitioner Level I
  • HSEEP Certification

Mid Training and Exercise Specialist

Candidate will be responsible for assisting coordination efforts to support Federal, state, and local partners in developing, designing, coordinating and delivering a wide range of training, technical assistance, exercise and evaluation activities. Assist in the planning and preparation of exercise documentation to include strategies, scenarios, briefings, exercise plans, role players/controller/evaluator handbooks, master scenario events lists, after-action reports and corrective action plan.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience

  • BA or BS degree

Senior Training and Exercise Specialist

Candidate will be responsible for providing coordination efforts to support Federal, state, and local partners in developing, designing, coordinating and delivering a wide range of training, technical assistance, exercise and evaluation activities. Lead the planning and preparation of exercise documentation to include strategies, scenarios, briefings, exercise plans, role players/controller/evaluator handbooks, master scenario events lists, after-action reports and corrective action plan. Prepare briefings, exercise plans, role players, evaluator handbooks, events lists, after action reports and corrective action plans. Serve as the main point of government between MSA and our customers.

 

Candidate will be responsible for operational oversight, customer engagement and the successful completion of all task orders. Develop detailed project management work plans, provides technical direction to team leads, manage costs, risks, and detailed invoicing and status reports.

  • FEMA experience
